The wait for the most powerful gaming phone of 2026 is almost over. iQOO has officially dropped the first look at its upcoming super-flagship, the iQOO 15 Ultra.

For the last few months, tech lovers in India have been enjoying the standard iQOO 15. But power users were asking, "Where is the Ultra model?" Now, the company has broken its silence. The iQOO 15 Ultra is confirmed to launch in China in early February 2026, just before the Spring Festival.

This phone is shaping up to be a true "Monster" with features we rarely see on smartphones, like a built-in cooling fan and a design inspired by sci-fi movies. Here is everything we know so far.

A Design From the Future: 2077 & 2049 Editions

iQOO is going bold with the look of the 15 Ultra. The official posters reveal two unique color options that pay tribute to the famous Blade Runner and Cyberpunk themes:

  • 2077 (Flowing Orange): A matte black body with bright fluorescent orange accents.

  • 2049 (Cold Blue): A silver/white body with flowing blue light effects.

The back panel features a honeycomb pattern, which looks rugged and grippy. The camera module is a large "squircle" (square with rounded corners) shape. But the most interesting part is the visible air vents. Since this phone has a physical fan inside, these vents are necessary to push hot air out.

On the side, you can also see pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers. This confirms that the iQOO 15 Ultra is built 100% for hardcore gamers who play titles like BGMI, COD Mobile, and Genshin Impact.

The "Monster Inside": Active Cooling & Performance

The biggest highlight of the iQOO 15 Ultra is its cooling system. While most phones use passive cooling (vapor chambers), the 15 Ultra is confirmed to have a real active cooling fan.

According to leaks, this is the "industry's largest" active fan for a phone, measuring 17x17x4mm. It will work together with an 8K vapor chamber to keep the phone ice-cold during long gaming sessions.

Expected Performance Specs:

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (The most powerful chip of 2026).

  • RAM: Up to 24GB LPDDR5X Ultra.

  • Storage: Up to 1TB UFS 4.1.

This setup is expected to score over 4.5 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, making it arguably the fastest phone on the planet right now.

Display and Cameras: Not Just for Gaming

Even though it is a gaming beast, iQOO is not compromising on the screen or cameras.

  • Display: It is rumored to feature a massive 6.85-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will likely use the new Samsung E8 or BOE Q10 panel for extreme brightness outdoors.

  • Cameras: The phone will sport a triple 50MP setup:

    1. Main: 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor.

    2. Ultra-wide: 50MP sensor.

    3. Telephoto: 50MP Sony IMX882 Periscope lens (3x optical zoom).

This means you can take high-quality portraits and zoom shots, which is rare for a dedicated gaming phone.

Battery Life That Lasts Days

Batteries in 2026 have become much bigger thanks to Silicon Carbon technology. The iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery.

Despite the huge battery, the phone will still charge incredibly fast. Leaks suggest it will support 100W or 120W wired FlashCharge, meaning you can likely fill that giant battery in under 35 minutes.

Will iQOO 15 Ultra Launch in India?

This is the big question. As of now, the February 2026 launch is confirmed only for China.

iQOO India has not officially announced the "Ultra" model for our market yet. In the past, iQOO sometimes skipped the "Pro" or "Ultra" models in India (like the iQOO 11 Pro). However, given the growing demand for premium gaming phones in India, there is a chance it could arrive later in March or April 2026, possibly under a different name or as a limited edition.

For now, Indian fans can look at the iQOO 15R, which is also teased to launch very soon with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset at a more affordable price.
